Since launching the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack, Nintendo has periodically added more classic titles to its library from the Game Boy, N64 and SNES eras. Today during a Pokemon Presents stream, the next two classics were announced. Soon, Switch Online users will be able to play Pokemon Stadium 2 and the Game Boy version of the Pokemon Trading Card Game.
The Pokemon Trading Card Game has been around for decades and in 1998, the game arrived in digital form for the Game Boy handheld. The game includes the first three sets of cards, as well as a few exclusives, waiting for players to collect and battle with.
Pokemon Stadium 2 is a little newer, having released in 2000 for the Nintendo 64. This game will offer long-time fans with plenty of nostalgia, featuring all the 1st Gen and 2nd Gen Pokemon for battle.
Pokemon Trading Card Game will be available to all Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. If you want to download Pokemon Stadium 2, you'll need the Switch Online Expansion pack, which is a one-time purchase on top of your usual subscription.
