The GT-1050SG is a modular design which has achieved 80 Plus Gold Certification. The unit is very attractively designed and we will find out if the performance characteristics can match the eye catching appearance.

AeroCool are clearly trying to target the enthusiast user who has an eye for expensive sports cars. In Italy ‘GT' stands for Gran Turismo, meaning a high performance sports car designed for long distance driving. The deliberate association with high performance cars is nothing new in the technology world, but have AeroCool got it right?

  2. Good review. bit high for what I need, but good to see some slightly cheaper alternatives. thats about the same price as the latest high end 750W from Corsair.

  3. Not available over here, but yeah I agree, seems like a high value unit. I dont mind much about the minor issues you mentioned. Any ideas of availability in Slovania/Slovakia?

    Are ribbon flat cables better than the traditiona round ones? I hate the ribbon cables they look crap.

  6. I think they do 500W up to 1050W all in the same styling, 80+ bronze too for people on a tighter budget…
