We first heard about the Sony Yuga back in early November and even then it was apparent that phones like it would set the trend for 2013. A press shot of the device has leaked online revealing its launch name will be the Xperia Z.
The smartphone on the left is the Xperia Z, while the one of the right is purported to be the Xperia ZL, formerly known in past rumours as the Odin. Surprisingly, both devices apparently offer the same in terms of basic specifications. This includes a 5 inch 1080p display, a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2 GB of memory and a 13 MP Exmor RS camera. The Xperia ZL is noticeably smaller than the Z so chances are battery life will take a hit when comparing the two.
KitGuru says: Expect full details to be revealed at CES next week.
