New Laser Pegs light-up construction toys launch

Laser Pegs, the originators of light-up construction, is the world’s only patented range of illuminated construction toys.  Laser Pegs is the first unique toy construction set in the world in which each piece feeds the next piece low voltage current.  A must-have for any construction fan, the new Laser Pegs are amazing construction toys that light up with bright light in all the colours of the rainbow. You can design and build any lighted abstract model and Laser Pegs can be used lit up or turned off. Laser Pegs is also compatible with other constructions sets, making it a very creative construction toy set to add to your collection.

A massive hit from the US, the new Laser Pegs range will be distributed by Goldfish & Bison in UK and Europe. Laser Pegs sets will be available to buy from summer 2013, with prices starting at £7.99 SRP.

Laser Pegs sets include; Rocket or Helicopter kits with suggestions for 6 different builds (19.99 SRP each), a Racing Car or Butterfly with suggestions for 12 models to build (£29.99 SRP each), a Spaceship with 24 models to build (£49.99 SRP) and a Dragon with 57 other models to build (£69.99 SRP).

The construction elements in the Laser Pegs sets light up in a different colour, so kids can mix and match the coloured Laser Pegs pieces to create the builds of their dreams and watch them come alive in spectacular colour. Each set comes with suggestions for super cool builds, or kids can use their imagination to make their own bright creations.

The Laser Pegs construction sets are also compatible with other constructions sets, so kids can supplement their existing construction collections with new Laser Pegs light up pieces.

Laser Pegs is the first unique toy construction set in the world in which each piece feeds the next piece low voltage current. Once one Laser Peg is connected to a power source it then illuminates any other peg it is connected with, making this a very creative construction toy set.

Each Laser Pegs kit includes a triangle power base. Just pop in 3 AAA batteries or attach an AC adaptor and you are ready to create lit-up models. Laser Pegs is the only construction system that lets you build with light, revolutionizing toy building blocks.

The unique children’s toy lights up using long lasting, high-quality LED lights inside building blocks. The long-life LED lights will run for about 100,000 hours, which is the equivalent of keeping them illuminated non-stop for 11 years. Laser Pegs pieces are also 100% recyclable for an environmentally friendly toy your kids will love.

Laser Pegs App
An official Laser Pegs iPad app is also available to download for free. The Laser Pegs iPad app is the first application available from a toy company with features that fully integrate with the physical toy.

When children play with the Laser Pegs app, they will be able to design their own 3D models by building creations virtually with the available Laser Pegs pieces. The app will also enable you to create your own manual or blueprint that you will be able to follow to bring your design to life with the Laser Pegs kits you already own. Design a castle or muscle car in the app, print out the manual, build it with your Laser Pegs pieces and then watch it light up when you plug it in!

Inside the app, users will be able to share the manuals they create for building specific Laser Pegs models via Facebook or with the company via email.

The app will have additional features including coloring book pages and games. In the future, Laser Pegs plans to expand the app to add the option for purchasing custom kits based on the models you design in the app.

The Laser Pegs app is free to download now from the App Store on any iPad device. www.laserpegs.com.

The launch of the new Intel Core Ultra 200S family of CPUs along with Z890 motherboards was a thorny process. KitGuru suffered along with pretty much every other review site on the planet and you may have noticed we held off from reviewing of the Core Ultra 9 285K, Core Ultra 7 265K and Core Ultra 5 245K as it is clear to us that Intel has some work to do before this platform is ready for action.
