LG Nexus 4 to hit Australian shelves next month

After being revealed last last year, LG's Nexus 4 has more than its fair share of supply problems. Due to massive demand arising from the low asking price of $299 USD for the 8 GB model, availability has been rather scarce. In Australia stock allocated to Google Play Store sales dried up within 20 minutes and availability is yet to return through this channel.

Fortunately, for Australians in need of the latest Nexus smartphone it will be on sale in Harvey Norman stores from February 1st for $496 (around $525 USD). This pricing has been inflated over the Australian Play Store price of $399 AUD for the 16 GB model.

“The Nexus 4 is a great example of how LG’s state of the art hardware is innovating in the smartphone market with Google choosing to be its latest hardware partner,” said Lambro Skropidis, General Marketing Manager at LG Australia.

KitGuru says: Regardless of the bumped up pricing, getting a quad-core processor, 2 GB of memory and a solid 4.7 inch 720p display for less than $500 AUD is an impressive feat.
