Enermax debuts the COENUS chassis

Enermax has today announced the release of their new chassis, known as the COENUS which I presume is pronounced cone-us. It draws inspiration from previous Enermax designs like the Fulmo ST and will be available in a choice of two colours: gun metal grey and jet black.

Cooling has been a big consideration with this case, with the potential for as many as six 12cm fans placed throughout the enclosure. However as standard, it will come fitted with three separate ones: one intake fan at the front, one exhaust fan in the roof – though there is room for two in both sections or a giant UCTA18A Enermax fan in the roof – and a rear 12cm exhaust fan. There's also space for the bottom mounted PSU to intake cool air from under the case as well, with plenty of clearance due to the included case feet.

For the storage lovers, there's plenty of internal space, with the ability to support up to eight individual 3.5″ or 2.5″ drives. This is a theme that's common throughout the COENUS, with an impressive 30mm of space behind the motherboard tray for easy cable routing and there's plenty of room for GPUs as well, with the potential for triple SLI or Xfire setups, even if they're dual slot cards.

Other features include twin USB 3.0 ports on the front with internal cabling, anti-vibration mounts for the PSU, tool-less installs for storage drives and optical drives and a motherboard tray cutout for simple CPU cooler changes.

Of course if you have a fancy interior too, you'll be pleased to see that the COENUS' big side window, will let you show everything off with ease.

Look out for a review of this chassis here soon.
