Nvidia is continuing to increase the portfolio of DLSS-supported games. This week, we have five new titles announced that will support the frame rate boosting tech, two of which are set to receive support for DLSS 3 while the remaining three games are primed with DLSS 2.
The First Descendant, which will have its cross-platform beta this weekend, will launch with DLSS 3 support. Note that a game supporting DLSS 3 means it also supports DLSS Super Resolution. As such, RTX 40 series owners won't be the only ones benefiting from increased framerates. RTX 30 and 20 series owners can enable DLSS 2 Super Resolution to bump their framerates, albeit not to the same extend as with DLSS 3.
The upcoming looter-shooter is still set to launch in Q4 2023, so you shouldn't have to wait long to try Nvidia's upscaling technology in this title. Moreover, Need For Speed Unbound is also getting DLSS 3 support with its Volume 4 update, releasing tomorrow.
As for the new DLSS 2-supported games, the ARPG Achilles: Legends Untold is getting an update to support DLSS 2. Moreover, the strategy-survival title Gord and the online survival horror game The Texas Chainsaw Massacre will get day-1 support for DLSS 2 as well. The former will be available on August 17th, and the later on August 18th.
