Fuji release super rugged XP200 camera with Wi-fi

Fuji have launched the FinePix XP200 camera which is built to withstand a rough environment. Ideal for people on an ‘adventure holiday' as the camera is designed to cope with water, knocks and bumps.

The camera is waterproof to a depth of 15 meters and FujiFilm say it has ‘crystal clear quality' when submerged under water. The XP200 is also shockproof against heights up to 2 meters, and is dustproof. Fuji claim the camera is also ‘freezeproof', coping with -10c temperatures. The XP200 can handle 10 frames per second continuous shooting and there is an ultra high speed mode which can take 60 frames per second.

Pricing hasn't been announced for the UK yet, but they quote $300 in America. It will be available in red, black, blue and yellow.
