Bioshock Infinite is a board game too

If you've been busy trying to win one of our giveaway Bioshock Infinite codes, or have already played your way through Irrational's epic sky-faring adventure, you'll probably be interested to know that it's getting a board game treatment that'll be released sometime in the next few months.

**Mild Spoilers to follow**

Called the Siege of Columbia, it pits the forces of the Vox Populi against the founders of the city, with Handymen, armored soldiers and even Songbird himself as potential combatants. Designed with two or four players in mind, teams take over the forces of each side and using a combination of figures and cards, have to take over the city and eliminate the enemy.

Booker and Elizabeth are wild cards in this game, with the latter offering obvious impressive powers to whichever side can control her, while the former will of course be trying his hardest to prevent either from taking her.

It's currently priced with a $25 discount for pre-orders via Plaid Hat (current price $60), though anyone ordering from the UK will therefore need to stomach a nasty £25 or so postage charge. Fortunately Forbidden Planet is stocking it too, but as with everything this side of the pond, it's much more expensive: £60.99 at the time of writing.

KitGuru Says: It's a bit of s shame that the mechanics are restricted to two or four players. It might have been nice to have a third of fifth player option for controlling Booker or something similar. Despite that though, I still will probably need to buy this. It looks pretty awesome.
