Microsoft may have leaked the date that Battlefield 4 is set to launch, after it revealed it on the official Xbox blog, before immediately removing it. Fortunately, some intrepid users were able to snatch a screenshot, so we can confirm that the rumoured date is 29th October, 2013.
Whether this will ultimately remain the date, we'll have to wait and see, but it seems likely due to Microsoft's speed of removal.
A white, mid-30s man with a gun. Never seen that protagonist before.
EA and DICE also recently released a 17 minute long gameplay trailer from the singleplayer portion of the game, which shows the typical giant set pieces, followed by run and gun action. It's all very exciting, but once again the publishers are using singleplayer footage to sell a game that's essentially a multiplayer experience. KitGuru Says: As pretty as it is guys, this looks so generic. I know there's a lot of people that enjoy these games and they're not, not fun, they're just so uninspired We've seen this stuff 1,000 times. Do something new.

On the PC version – unless EA/DICE dramatically close down the ability to hack the game -change the engine – lock down changes – I for one will be avoiding this game
