OcUK offers a KFA2 GTX770 as pure as driven snow

If you're a geek of a certain age, then you will remember the thrill of vinyl records. Because of the relatively low cost to stamp out a few more, a lot of bands would create limited editions in strange and wonderful coloured plastics. If you were really into a band, then you'd want your record of choice ‘on white vinyl'.  If we're reading the OcUK correctly, you can now get this exclusivity for graphics.

It's nice to be different.

As teenagers, when we first achieve a level of independence, we put a load effort into being different for the sake of it.

Later on, that effort mutates into taste.

The same goes for brands – in all product categories. They begin by wanting to stand out any way they can – and later they will work out what they really stand for.

KFA2 is a little different. The brand's ethos and graphics have been strong and distinctive from the start. With such a clear identity, it makes you wonder how KFA2 can differentiate its products even further – for example around a major launch like that for nVidia's highly desirable GTX770.

This version is pure white.

Yep, that should stand out.

Not only is the colour completely different, but it also uses a much more advanced triple-fan/5 heat pipe cooling configuration to reduce temperatures and noise.

That also means, at launch, it promises to be the fastest ‘out of the box' GTX770 experience in the world.

Not bad.

The standard GTX770 cards are around the £350 mark – so the £359 OcUK are asking for when this card launches on 1st July seems like a reasonable price, given the improved cooling, audio and pixel-punching performance (2.4GHz shader clock innit).

KitGuru says: While the card itself looks gorgeous, the real ‘win' here seems to be the fact that Overclockers has secured a pan-European on what promises to be the fastest GTX770 in the world at launch.
