Persona 3 Reload gets February 2024 release date

Earlier this summer, Atlus and Sega officially announced Persona 3 Reload, a complete remake of the classic RPG. This week at Gamescom, a new trailer for the game released, giving us a further look at the fantastic visual overhaul the game has received.

Persona 3 Reload is a reimagining of the original game, putting you in the shoes of a Japanese transfer student thrust into an unexpected adventure when entering the Dark Hour, a ‘hidden' hour between one day and the next. Like all Persona games, you'll gather up your party, forge relationships and battle it out with monsters to unravel the mysteries at play.

The new trailer above confirms that Persona 3 Reload will release on the 2nd of February 2024. Unfortunately, the game is still not confirmed for Nintendo Switch, but it will be heading to PC, Xbox and PlayStation. Those subscribed to Xbox Game Pass will get access to the game on day one with no further purchase required.

From the trailer, we can see that Atlus has upped its visuals considerably, not just compared to the original version of Persona 3, but also compared to Persona 5.

KitGuru Says: I finally finished Persona 5 Royal earlier this year and now, I'm looking forward to Persona 3 Reload being my second dive into this world – although I might try to squeeze in a playthrough of Persona 4 Golden before it comes out. Are any of you planning on picking this one up?
