Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections is launching in November

The Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series has been a staple for anime fans since the PS3 days. Last year, Bandai Namco announced plans for a new game, Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections without a release date. That has now changed, with a new trailer dropping today confirming a November launch.

Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections is officially set to release on the 17th of November 2023. A new gameplay trailer shows some of the new characters joining the roster and their special Jutsu animations:

The game will feature 130 playable characters from the Naruto and Boruto series. While this release date is intact for the PlayStation, Xbox and Switch versions of the game, the PC version will arrive late. Additionally, while the game is now available for pre-order on Xbox and PlayStation, Switch and PC pre-orders are also coming “at a later date”.

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm originally released in 2008, offering PS3 owners an alternative to the Xbox 360-exclusive Naruto games “Rise of a Ninja” and “Broken Bond”. Ubisoft stopped developing Naruto titles after Broken Bond and the Ultimate Ninja Storm series transitioned into multi-platform releases. Nowadays, all of the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm games are available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch.

KitGuru Says: The Ultimate Ninja Storm series has always been popular amongst fans of the Naruto anime and I expect that will continue with Ninja Storm Connections. With that said, I do wish we could see the Rise of a Ninja/Broken Bond games return in some form. The combat wasn't as flashy but in my opinion, it was much more fun to play.
