Microsoft announces limited edition Indiana Jones Xbox Series X

Since its launch back in 2020, Microsoft have been rather creative with the Xbox Series X, releasing a ton of different custom consoles which transform the relatively basic cuboid into something far grander. Such is the case with the most recently-announced limited edition Indiana Jones Series X – featuring a shiny gold exterior.

Announcing the highly limited edition console on the Xbox Wire Blog, Christopher Mohl – the Brand Manager at Bethesda Softworks – said:

“To celebrate the highly anticipated release of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Xbox has crafted a stunning custom console and controller that pays tribute to Indiana Jones, with an exciting twist. The hardware is encased in a puzzle box inspired by the game, and fans are invited to attempt to solve it for a chance to win the treasure within.”

As with a majority of Microsoft’s custom Series X’s you won’t actually be able to buy this system, with fans instead needing to solve a puzzle in order to be added to the sweepstakes.

As mentioned, Microsoft have released quite a few interesting Series X systems over the years, including a SpongeBob-themed console as well as a ton of weird accessories – such as the ‘cheeky’ Deadpool and furry Sonic controllers.

KitGuru says: What do you think of this latest system? Which custom Series X has been your favourite so far? If you could own one of the controllers, which one would it be? Let us know down below.
