RTX 5070 will reportedly debut at CES 2025

Rumours surrounding the upcoming Nvidia RTX 50 series have been gaining traction, with new reports claiming that the RTX 5080 will offer comparable memory bandwidth to the RTX 4090. Additionally, it is claimed that the RTX 5070 will make its debut at CES in January.

Assuming the upcoming RTX 5080 will feature a 256-bit memory bus and 32 Gbps GDDR7 reported by Wccftech, the total memory bandwidth would be 1024GB/s, surpassing the 1008GB/s bandwidth of the RTX 4090.

In addition to the latest RTX 5080 speculations, there's also some new details about the RTX 5070. This graphics card is said to be based on the GB205 GPU instead of the GB203 featured in the RTX 5080. Kopite7kimi says the card will also have a 250 TBP and 12GB of VRAM.

The RTX 5080 is expected to be based on the GB203 GPU and feature 10,752 CUDA cores. Meanwhile, the rumoured RTX 5070 will likely be powered by the GB205 GPU and should have 6,400 CUDA cores or less. Nvidia is expected to unveil the new RTX 50 series at CES 2025, with Jensen Huang slated to host the keynote.
