Edifier’s S2000 MK III bookshelf speakers are an excellent option. These come in with a price tag of £430, they are Hi-Res certified, feature Bluetooth 5.0 along with an arrange of connection types, an IR remote control and even have an OLED LCD screen.

The Edifier MR4 studio monitors are a great set of affordable, well built, great sounding set of speakers. If you're used to listening to music and game soundtracks through cheap, desktop speakers or headsets then the difference these speakers bring is massive. The price is very reasonable for the sound quality these speakers deliver.

For the size and price the G2000s outperformed our expectations. If you’re a laptop gamer, desktop gamer, tablet gamer or even looking for a pair of smaller speakers to link to your tablet for watching movies with better immersion we definitely recommend Edifier’s G2000s.

We're impressed with Razer's latest desktop speaker offerings, especially the top end Nommo Pro. Razer's signature matte black aluminium construction on both the satellite units and the huge subwoofer looks great, while there's even Chroma lighting on the satellite units. On top of that, there's plenty of connectivity options including USB, analogue, optical and Bluetooth 4.2, alongside a single control pod that acts as a volume wheel.

The A200s are definitely a darker, more 'fun' sounding 2.0 speaker system - with plenty of emphasis on the bass and mid-range, while the treble rolls off quickly. This may not appeal to everyone, but we simply loved the mid-range presentation offered by these speakers. For those looking for a speaker system to simply enjoy music with (instead of listening analytically) the A200s come highly recommended.
