Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge price revealed by UK retailer

A UK retailer has revealed the price for Samsung's latest set of flagship devices, the Galaxy S6 and the slightly more ambitious Galaxy S6 Edge. The devices were revealed last week but until now, there had been no pricing confirmation ahead of its April release date.

Neither of Samsung's latest offerings is available to pre-order just yet but unlocked-mobiles appears to have the SIM-free price already listed. According to this retail outlet, the Galaxy S6 will set you back just shy of £550, while the Galaxy S6 Edge will cost more, coming in at just under £650.

These listings weren't model specific but it is likely to be for the 32GB models as Samsung has taken a step back from 16GB devices this time around. Samsung has yet to confirm pricing itself but it is likely that many retailers are already in the loop and just waiting to accept pre-orders following Samsung's approval.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is set to release next month, featuring a 2560×1440 QHD display, a quad-core Exynos CPU and 3GB of RAM running Android Lollipop with a new, stripped down version of Touch Wiz.

  1. Rip off to say the truth.

  2. Sounds fair to me.

  3. Really? in the case of the s6 32gb its a good price because the iphone 6 16gb was this same price when it came out. Infact iirc the iphon3 5 & 5s 16gb was near this price when the came out. If your talking about the s6 edge I agree 650 is a joke, there is nothing on the edge that is £100 better than on the s6.

  4. Yes there is. S6 Edge requires more manufacturing process to bend the glass and screen. I thought it would be a lot more expensive than standard S6, but £100 more is reasonable
