The PCSpecialist Vortex IV 770XS ships in a plain brown box, which is a generic box connected to the Clevo brand.
Inside the box is a power supply with UK plug, user manual and driver/software disc. The battery is a 5,200 mAh model which seems a little underpowered for such a beefy system specification. More on this later in the review.

KitGuru Games: A decade of GOTY winners – did voters get it WRONG?
The Game Awards have been around for well over a decade and at this point, the TGAs have cemented themselves as the biggest awards show for the industry. Keighley knows how to draw people in with promises of new game trailers and other announcements, leading to huge moments like Bethesda's reveal for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, or Microsoft's Xbox Series X reveal. Winning the show's GOTY award is considered to be a badge of honour, so let's take a look back at the last ten GOTY winners and whether or not they deserved it.
nice system, decent price. seen a simllar spec on Dell for around £500 more. I thought those bigger companies were meant to get better deals!
Clevo are an acquired taste. they are bulky and not that pretty, but they are well built and last a long time. I have had one for years, I agree though, the keyboard is crap.
Heat is the biggest problem with these machines, but this one looks good internally. its a step up from the last high end 17 inch unit I had, it had only one fan and it just had to work too hard. I had to clean it out every 2 months. something I should point out, is this unit is very easy to maintain by looking at the placements. a good airduster every 3 months and it would be fine.
Good product, a company ive been watching now for a while. good builds.
Wow thats a hell of a machine. good spec for the price too. cheaper than my alienware whic isn’t as fast 🙁
