Eurocom Launch the Sky X7W fully hardware socketed laptop

Eurocom’s mobile workstation is set to become even more mobile with the launch of a new Supercomputer-class laptop, the Sky X7W boasts just as much power as it predecessor despite weighing in at half a pound less than the Tornado F7 SE.

The new Eurocom Sky X7W is powered by Intel’s flagship desktop processor the Core i9-9900K 8-core, 16-thread CPU and features either Nvidia Quadro P-series or GeForce RTX 20 series GPU’s. Additionally, the Sky X7W comes equipped with a standard 17.3-inch display, up to 128 GB of RAM and up to 20 TB of storage via four internal physical drives.

Eurocom offers a range of displays available for the Sky X7W with a wide selection of resolutions and refresh rates available, along with the ability to support up to four monitors. The Sky X7W also includes built-in ONKY speakers and subwoofer with a Sound Blaster X Pro-Gaming 360 sounds system. Additionally, the W7X is equipped with a colour-customisable backlit keyboard to make it the ideal system for game design and play.

Other key features of the Sky X7W include Kensington and fingerprint lock security, TPM 2.0 and BIOS Disk encryption to protect sensitive data and provide users with peace of mind. All hardware components in the Sky X7W are fully socketed, meaning users can upgrade as they wish, to keep up with increasing hardware demands.

The Sky X7W is the latest addition to Eurocom’s selection of upgradable laptops and comes in price at $2166 USD.
