KitGuru inside the Samsung Galaxy S4 UK launch event

With one of the biggest media splashes of the year, Samsung pooled a heap of press and associated industry lovers for an evening of Galaxy S4 wonder and musical delight. Well. We say delight. If Gary Barlow is to your musical taste. Here's a glance inside the year's biggest launch with KitGuru.

Living in a high-speed, broadband-enabled modern world like wot KitGuru does, it does seem strange for any company to stagger a launch event across more than a month.

But that is exactly what Samsung has done with the Galaxy S4 (SIV?). Regular readers will remember the Times Square Take Over stories from 14th March, so what was special about 16th April in London?

Well, here's some KitGuru insider shots of the event and product – you decide:-

Big branding, plenty of security. Nice.

KitGuru says: A thoroughly enjoyable evening was rounded off with the Queen's very own favourite northern warbler. Barlow bashed out the hits while Samsung product managers sat back and smiled – sure in the knowledge that they have a winner, winner, money-spinner on their hands. Over to you Mr iPhone. The ball is definitely in your court.
