Official specification for Google’s Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are finally revealed

Throughout this year, we have seen many leaks and rumours regarding Google’s new Pixel 4 phone. With images of how it will look, the colours available and how many cameras it will have already common knowledge, we now know the official specification.

Google’s Pixel 4 is probably the most leaked phone of recent times. So news of the Pixel’s upcoming flagship model’s specification being leaked will not come as a surprise to most. This week, 9TO5Google managed to exclusively get their hands on the full official specification of the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4XL and shared the information on their website.

Over the past few months, there have been many rumours and leaks claiming the specification of the Google Pixel will be in line to compete with flagship offerings from other manufacturers. However, as these were just rumours, we had to take them with a pinch of salt. Now the official specs have come out, we know exactly how the Pixel 4 will line up against its rivals.

The official information provided by 9TO5Google seems to confirm most of the previously rumoured specification details are correct. Along with the full spec sheet, we can also see what will be included in the box with a Pixel 4 too (in the US).

The Pixel 4 will feature a 5.7-inch 90Hz OLED Full HD+ Smooth Display and a Snapdragon 855 Pixel Neural Core processor from Qualcomm. A larger 6.3-inch Quad HD+ 90 Hz OLED display will be found in the Pixel 4 XL while sporting the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. Both devices will offer storage capacity of 64 GB or 128 GB and have 12 MP Dual-Pixel and 16 MP Telephoto cameras at their disposal.

Users in the US can expect to find a 1meter USB-C to USB- cable, power adaptor, quick switch adaptor, SIM tool and Quick Start guide in the box. However, there is no mention of a USB-C headphone adaptor or USB-C earbuds being included.
