MoneySupermarket release multiplatform insurance app

Are you looking to get new car insurance? Battling to find the cheapest, most competitve deal? They fear not, because MoneySupermarket have developed an application which will work on the iPhone, Android and iPad.

They claim that people who use and buy insurance from MoneySuperMarket will save an average of £375.

Here is a snippet from their press release:

MoneySupermarket Car Insurance is the first car insurance comparison App launched in the UK. It allows people to enter their details to compare the best quotes available for their car and complete a purchase in just a couple of minutes– even if you’re still picking out your new set of wheels at the dealership! The iPhone App can be downloaded** now for free from the UK Apple App store.

The App is simple to use and enables customers to navigate easily through the necessary information you need to provide to get a quote on the move. MoneySupermarket Car Insurance provides you with the option to ‘click to call’ any car insurance provider to talk through the quote and get help if you need it, or in only a few clicks you can buy cover directly through your mobile handset. The App will also save your details and remember where you are in the application process – useful if your iPhone is out of range.

Julie Fisher insurance expert at MoneySupermarket.com said: “The cost of running a car has been increasing markedly over the last few years, with petrol prices on the up and car insurance a yearly necessity for all drivers. People are naturally keen to take action, and shop around to switch to the best possible car insurance deal. The launch of the MoneySupermarket Car Insurance App has made it even easier for people to find the right car cover for the best possible price – allowing people to compare a huge range of quotes quickly and easily – anytime, anywhere. It’s another example of how MoneySupermarket is helping people to make the most of their money.”
