The second of the 5-in-1 uses is as a viewing stand which means you can support the iPad in landscape mode for watching video content on a table or on your lap.
The iPad simply slides into the base (or front shell) for an angled view.
Brenthaven supply a strap attachment system which is fed through the vents on the ‘front panel' we looked at earlier. This front panel can be removed and placed ‘over' the rear panel, offering the ability to hang the iPad over a car seat in front. Brenthaven do issue a warning about this as it could cause serious injury in the case of an accident.
This strap also doubles up as the “EZ Grip” system, meaning you place this section over the rear part and hold the strap in your hand, once tightened up.
Lastly, the same plate used horizontally to hold the iPad to view videos can be used as a vertical support mechanism for typing. It works quite well and angles the iPad on a flat plane for ease of use. We would prefer to use the Apple bluetooth keyboard for this with the iPad in viewing stand position, but it is a a useful addition some people will find handy.
That is a really clever design. bit expensive, but good.
my buddy will order this if I show him it later. he bought a crappy cover and he hates it.
Thats lovely. but its half the price of the amazon Kindle!
