Gingerbread 2.3 HTC Desire update to hit UK this month

Many people with a HTC Desire will have been unhappy for quite some time, as the news has hit that the UK will be getting the Gingerbread update later this month.

HTC said that they couldn't make the Gingerbread update for the Desire, then changed their mind and posted updates about it.

Unwiredview ran the story saying that HTC posted the news on Facebook, saying that no major bugs were in place, and the minor bugs were already being squashed. The update should roll out before the end of the month, with the release being staggered over August.
