Jelly Bean statue lands at Android HQ, live stream link within

The Android team at Google have a strong tradition of placing a statue in front of the Building 44 headquarters every time a major new version of Android rolls around. This time it is time for the Jelly Bean statue which represents version 4.1 of Android. According to the A4 piece of paper stuck on the statue it is still a work in progress, perhaps with only its eyes left to come.

The rise of the green machine.

We should be seeing more of Jelly Bean later today at Google I/O and a live stream of Google's keynote will be available here. The keynote begins at 9.30am PDT time which converts to 5.30pm for Londoners and 12.30pm for the East Coast of America. If you're not sure what this means for you then use this handy timezone converter.

KitGuru says: We aren't expecting a massive update with Android Jelly Bean, but any changes that are made will be welcome ones.
