Existing iOS devices will get iOS 6 September 19

This morning in San Fransico, Apple CEO, Tim Cook has announced that their newer mobile devices will get iOS 6 starting September 19. Devices include the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad 2, the new iPad and the fourth generation iPod Touch.

The free update includes some neat features including Passbook, dictation and turn-by-turn navigation, as well as a plethora of other new features. However, it has been found previously that some of the older devices will not get some new features such as 3D maps or turn-by-turn navigation. Furthermore, you could be restricted just because of where you are in the world, you can see what features you country will and won't get by checking out this link.
