Apple co-founder prefers beauty of Windows Phone 7 over iOS

Steve Wozniak is known to get around a lot in regards to the smartphones he regulary carries around with him. Last year he picked up the then-flagship Samsung Galaxy Nexus and earlier this month he got himself a Nokia Lumia 900 that runs on the Windows Phone 7 platform. In a recent interview Wozniak spoke his mind of what he thinks of the three major mobile operating systems.

Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak, prefers Windows Phone 7 over Android and iOS

Based on the feel and beauty of Android and Windows Phone 7 he “definitely favors the Windows 7 Phone over Android.” iOS isn't left alone either; “the iPhone has a lot of beauty and simplicity, and you don't get lost as much in it, but it's more awkward to use.” Wozniak even went as far as saying that with Windows Phone 7 he is “more with a friend than I'm with a tool.”

So these jumble of quotes from the interview would obviously make you think that he sides with the Microsoft camp; wrong. He later claimed that the “iPhone is my favorite phone” and “that Steve Jobs might have been reincarnated at MS due to a lot of what I see and feel with this phone making me think of a lot of great Apple things.”

KitGuru says: Whether someone at Apple reminded him of his secret oath to Apple supremacy or not, we may never know.

KitGuru Games: The Best Console is the One in Your Pocket

Emulation is the saving grace of the video games industry. Despite its controversial nature, the technology will be the only way in which all games are preserved for the future – free from licensing agreements and other such nonsense. Better still is the fact that in a majority of cases, emulation allows for a more accurate recreation of the game’s original experience than official offerings, due to countless complex shaders, filters and tweakable settings. And the best part? Thanks to the progression of technology, your humble smartphone is able to do all this and more – giving you the power of 10,000 games in the palm of your hand.
