iPad 3g hacked to run with UK Carriers

The iPad is one of the hottest devices on the market right now and you can expect our full review in the coming days. As we all know however the 3G version is currently only supported by US networks – well until blogger Benson got his grubby mitts on one and decided to hack it to bits with a meat clever and a pair of scissors – no seriously I kid you not.

He said: “Electronically, the SIM and MicroSIM are the same so we can cut the rest away and not worry (so long as we are careful)”
