Are Apple releasing something new on 19th?

Sources have been speaking to Kitguru last night, indicating that Apple may have plans for the 19th – their 10th anniversary of the retail division.

Apple retail staff have had to sign an NDA with Apple and Cell phones have to be locked in the main office. Apple staff have also been working overnight across the last couple of days on the nightshift. A variety of staff are working on the nightshift, some Genius bar staff, visuals staff and business team members.

Many stores have had curtains placed over specific areas of the store layout. According to sources, hardware has been received from California to install and more is due to be shipped over the next couple of days. All of this hardware has been instructed to be placed under lock and key until the launch happens.

We also hear that employees have been told to download a batch of files which is marked as training materials. Apple are also holding in store training briefings and meetings for an upcoming launch.

KitGuru says: No other details have yet to be released however it makes sense for Apple to do something very ‘cool' for this 10 year anniversary date.
