Apple ‘Alive’ and ‘Together’ adverts signal new direction

Apple have released two new TV adverts at the weekend for the iPad and iPad Mini. The two ads are called ‘Alive' and ‘Together' and signal a new style of approach for the company since Steve Jobs died.

Both of the adverts start with a quick display of adjectives shown to the beat of a drum, each highlighting one of the 300,000 applications made specifically for the iPad. [yframe url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqTwYa46OKE']

Apple are focusing now on the software available via their App Store, the biggest selection in the world. The new adverts are much quicker paced and feature a group of voices highlighting words between clips of the tablet computers running various software applications. Apple are partnering the television adverts with a series of new print adverts also focusing on the software side.
