Apple Arcade to add 10 new games to its service

Apple Arcade was created with the intention to bring greater awareness to the many great video games available on mobile platforms. With a monthly subscription, iOS users can get their hands on a wide range of interesting and unique games, none of which have any microtransactions. Though the service as a whole has been a bit of a mixed bag, Apple Arcade is set to get a notable boost thanks to 10 new games dropping over the coming weeks.

Making the announcement on their blog, the iPhone maker shared the following: “Apple Arcade is kicking off the new year with an exciting slate of game launches, along with big updates to existing hits. Today, seven new titles are available, all with no ads or in-app purchases.”

With that, the full list of titles joining thr service includes the following:

  • Skate City: New York
  • Gears & Goo [Vision Pro]
  • Three Kingdoms HEROES
  • FINAL FANTASY+
  • Trials of Mana+
  • Rodeo Stampede+
  • It's Literally Just Mowing+
  • PGA TOUR Pro Golf (6th February)
  • Doodle Jump 2+ (6th February)
  • My Dear Farm+ (6th February)

For the uninitiated, the plus ‘+’ in many of these titles indicate that they are free from any ads or in-app purchases, meaning they are not Apple Arcade exclusives.

Still, it is nice to see the company continue to support its Arcade subscription – even if the rate and number of added games remain somewhat inconsistent.
