The iPhone 15 Pro line-up may see price increase up to $200

Earlier this week, we heard that Apple was planning to have 85 million iPhone 15 units made this year, showing confidence in this year's launch. However, Apple will also be asking for more money, particularly for its Pro models, which are set to get a significant price increase.

As reported by Apple Hub, Barclays analyst, Tim Long, has predicted an up to $200 price increase for the iPhone 15 Pro line-up. The iPhone 15 Pro is expected to increase to $1,099, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max may end up reaching a new price high of $1,299.

These phones were already pretty expensive but they also carried some substantial upgrades over the standard model iPhones, including significant camera improvements and additional processing power. Bloomberg previously reported that Apple is considering a price hike for its iPhone 15 Pro line-up, but didn't report potential specification upgrades.

While a price raise for the iPhone 15 Pro models is predicted, no pricing changes are expected for the standard iPhone 15 or the bigger Plus model.

KitGuru Says: While enthusiasts will always want the best of the best, I don't think everyday users will miss out on much by opting to save money with the standard iPhone. The standard model still sets a high bar and often, you'll also get slightly better battery life out of it.
