macOS Sierra GM Build launches

If you have been trying out the macOS Sierra beta builds ahead of the update's official launch on the 20th of September, then you can actually get your hands on the release version now as the Gold Master build has been released for all testers.

macOS Sierra (formerly known as OS X) is the next big update for Apple's desktop users. The new GM build is numbered 16A323 and should contain most of the final fixes as we approach the official launch date.

If you happen to be a Mac user, then the Sierra update will actually be quite a big one, bringing support for Siri, Auto-Unlock, Apple Pay and an updated Safari browser. These new features will bring more synergy between iOS and macOS devices.

macOS Sierra is arriving on the 20th of September, ahead of Apple's October event, at which we will likely see new iMacs and Macbooks introduced, alongside new iPads.
