Apple staff uncertain about slip in jOBS film roadmap

When we realised that the highly anticipated Steve Jobs biopic was running late, we headed down to the nearest Apple store.

There can always be a difference between an initial announcement and the actual launch of a product.

That's true for hardware, software and – apparently – films.

While the jOBS biopic was originally scheduled to be in cinemas for the 3rd week of April, it now looks like that has slipped.

.
Speaking with Apple staff at one of their London stores, we were told “It looks like it will be about a month later”, but they were uncertain.

At the same time that we're hearing about the film roadmap slipping, the likely launch date for the iPhone 6 may well have been pulled in.

Hmmm.

iJOBS film later and iPhone 6 earlier. Maybe timed to happen on or around the same day? [yframe url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rOiXeKaUUM']

KitGuru says:  One reason for the delay on the film could be to tidy up some of the problems with the original edit shown at the Sundance Film Show. Scoring a measly 5.7 out of 10, the film could be a disappointment. Not something that Tim needs cooking right now.
