Apple to release new style iPhone5 headphones

It has been a while since I have heard Apple headphones, but my distant memories certainly aren't too positive. The white headphones may look cool, but when I bought my iPod many years ago I immediately ditched the suckers for a decent pair.

According to Vietnamese website Tinhte it looks as if Apple will be releasing a new revision of their white earbuds for the upcoming iPhone. [yframe url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gx5MA1tBfKY']

They posted a video which you can watch above.

Tinhte are saying that they earphones are being manufactured in a Vietnamese Foxconn plant and they have ‘Designed by Apple in California' marked on the cable. We reckon it sounds better than ‘Built by slave labor in Vietnam'.

The buds are following a new design which directs the sound into the ear canal, and the speaker grills seem almost hidden from view. We wouldn't imagine Sennheiser will be too worried about the new white earbuds, but lets hope Apple can give people something slightly credible ‘out of the box'.
