Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic has landed on Android

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has finally landed on Android, some time after the mobile version's iPad debut. It is available on the Google Play Store and right now it is half price to celebrate its launch, costing £3.20.

This is the full KOTOR experience and has not been slimmed down for mobile, according to the title's description. It will take some time to download though as it is 2.4GB in size. The mobile port was handled by Aspyr Media, the controls have been streamlined for touch screens although controller support is included, making it a great option for Nvidia Shield users.

Knights of the Old Republic was originally developed by Bioware and released all the way back in 2003. The game was very successful and received wide critical praise. The game puts you on a quest to become a Jedi and stop Darth Malak from locating the Star Forge and conquering the Republic.

In order to play the game, you will need a device running Android 4.1 or upwards.

KitGuru Says: Knights of the Old Republic is one of my favorite games so I'm likely going to give it a go on Android. What do you guys think of this? Would you play an RPG as extensive as KOTOR on a smartphone or tablet?
