Sennheiser has introduced a new line of second-generation true wireless earbuds. The company has taken its premium true wireless earphones and added new enhancements such as Active Noise Cancellation with refined ergonomics and a long battery life that can be extended via a charging case.

The new Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds from Sennheiser deliver exceptional audio quality that can be enjoyed in any environment. The tiny form factor earphones are equipped with 7mm dynamic drivers that were designed and manufactured at Sennheiser’s German HQ. The company claims its 7mm drivers provide deep bass, natural mids and clear, detailed treble.

Audio produced by the Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds can be customised to the user's preference via a built-in equaliser and Sennheiser’s Smart Control App. New features added to the earbuds include Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) that works in tandem with the earbuds passive noise cancellation to minimise environmental noise without affecting audio quality.

When users need to be aware of surroundings, a Transparent hearing feature allows outside ambient sounds to be heard by the touch of a button. This allows users to enjoy natural conversation without having to remove the earbuds. Additionally, Advanced beamforming technology and two microphones reduces noise for crystal clear voice detection allowing users to make phone calls and interact with smart devices via voice controls.

Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds can be connected to compatible devices via Bluetooth 5.1 with support for the latest audio codecs including AAC and Qualcomm aptXTM for rock-solid connectivity. The earbuds also offer all-day listening with almost twice the battery life of previous models. Seven hours playback time can be boosted to 28 hours by charging on the move via the supplied charging case.

The new Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 earphones are due to be available with a black colour scheme in April priced at £279. A white version is expected to launch later in the year.
