Rockstar release official trailer for Grand Theft Auto 5

Rockstar released the official trailer for Grand Theft Auto 5 yesterday, one of the most anticipated games to hit the consoles this year. PC lovers will have to wait some time for a possible release sadly, but we hope Rockstar will create something to use the additional power of PC hardware.

The 1 minute trailer focuses on the three main characters in the game, particularly Michael who has worked hard to go straight, but is drawn back into a life of crime by Franklin and the insane looking Trevor. The three go on a crime spree and the fun and hijinks begin.

The game really does look like it is going to be a lot of fun when it is released next month. [yframe url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvoD7ehZPcM']

The game is released on September 17th for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

  1. Rockstar suck ass… PC is the king of gaming,WTF are they thinking 🙁

  2. While that trailer looks brilliant and the game no doubt will be fantastic, rockstar need to take a serious look at their own business strategy and target market. By not releasing a PC version from the start they will lose out on MILLIONS of sales that they may never get back.

It’s sheer stupidity and whoever calls the shots over at Rockstar about what platform they release games on needs fired. Whatever retard that works there who thinks that consoles are a larger market share than PC’s needs to go and do some research and use some common sense.

It never ceases to amaze me that rockstar time and time again make games that are brilliant and consistently fail to capture/reach the potential PC market untill well after the hype around their game has subsided. Red Dead Redemption was a game that could have been one of the most popular games on PC, but they never bothered with a port.

GTA4 had to wait over a YEAR to get a PC version by which time most people had played it to death on console and the only reason anyone would buy it is when it was in a steam summer sale with every other GTA for £3.

they really need to learn more about the market I find it deeply disappointing and worrying that such a large company still has no fucking clue how to target all their available market share effectively.

  3. jeez, no PC version, this world is sucking all around.

    shitty consoles, no thanks.
