Wrestling legends The Undertaker and Becky Lynch come to Rainbow Six: Siege

In the many years following the launch of Rainbow Six: Siege we have seen Ubisoft slowly but surely bring an increasing number of odd and interesting crossover skins into the tactical FPS. Following the likes of Pickle Rick and 2B from NieR: Automata, wrestling legends The Undertaker and Becky Lynch are now in Rainbow Six: Siege.

Making the announcement on Twitter, the official Rainbow Six: Siege page said “It’s time to earn your @WWE Championship Title in #RainbowSixSiege. Don’t miss out on the Undertaker and Becky Lynch bundles for Blackbeard and Thorn!”

Though it started off as quite a serious game when it first released back in 2015, over the years (and undoubtedly in part due to the success of Fortnite), Siege has been inundated with an increasingly odd roster of crossover characters.

As mentioned, we have seen the likes of 2B and Pickle Rick, but also Lara Croft from Tomb Raider; Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil and Kazuma Kiryu from the Yakuza (Like a Dragon) series – meaning the addition of Pro-wrestlers is at this point unsurprising.

As fun as crossover skins can be, the overabundance of them can in some instances remove immersion from certain games. Hopefully Siege isn’t heading in that direction.
