Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty to get another demo later this month

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is an upcoming Souls-like from Team Ninja – the studio behind the much-loved Nioh series. Set to release on the 3rd of March, a second demo for Wo Long has now been announced; available on all platforms on the 24th of February.

Making the announcement on Twitter, the official Wo Long page said “#WoLongFallenDynasty demo is coming February 24! Play it on #PlayStation4 #PlayStation5 #XboxOne, Series X|S, #Steam & Microsoft store!”

Unlike the first demo, which went live back in September 2022, Team Ninja confirmed that “Save data from this demo will transfer to the final game! Complete the demo to obtain the ‘Crouching Dragon Helmet’ DLC in the full game.”

For the uninitiated, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a Souls-like which takes many learnings from Team Ninja’s previous efforts such as Nioh and Nioh 2 and builds upon them. In Wo Long, players will take on a wide variety of enemies, from humans to giant demented and feral beasts. Furthermore, the game is entirely playable in co-op – evolving the formula further.

It will be interesting to see just how Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is received when the game releases on the 3rd of March 2023. That said, the inclusion of a demo being released beforehand will do plenty to allow players to come to their own conclusions before splashing the cash on a new IP.
