SIFU Summer Update adds new modes, costumes and more

SIFU quickly became one of 2022’s biggest indie hits following its launch back in February. In the wake of its success, a content roadmap was revealed. Now, the team at Sloclap have announced all of the new additions coming with the ‘Summer Content Update’.

Making the announcement, the SIFU team revealed that “Launching on Aug. 31, Sifu’s free Summer 2022 update is focused on giving players more ways to play by adding a slew of new features including gameplay modifiers, a brand-new scoring system and additional stylish outfits.”

With that, the list of changes and additions coming with this new update includes the Enforcer Armor outfit; the Master Hand outfit as well as a ‘no hit run’ option, where you must keep your character’s hat on their head.

There are also a whole host of gameplay modifiers, including being able to change your health; structure; the way enemy attacks are interpreted; your skills; shrine rewards and more – giving you complete control over your gameplay experience.

More fun gameplay modifiers include: bullet time; low gravity; giving you a golden weapon and even invincibility. Finally, SIFU is also receiving a new scoring system, allowing for “deep and accurate scoring mechanics” as well as “improved dynamic multipliers.”

SIFU was already a highly fun and replayable brawling experience. This Summer Content Update is only set to make the game even more addicting.
