Roughly 50 titles will support PS5 Pro at launch

The reveal of the PS5 Pro may not have gone exactly as Sony was hoping (at least from a buyer’s perspective), but many developers appear to be rather excited about the mid-gen refresh. In a recent interview, it was confirmed that around 40-50 games will be PS5 Pro enhanced right from launch.

In a recent translated interview conducted by the Japanese publication ‘4Gamer’ Toshimasa Aoki – the Senior Principal Product Manager at SIE – was asked about the number of games expected to see PS5 Pro enhancements when the console launches on the 7th of November.

So far, only a couple dozen or so games have been officially confirmed to be seeing improvements at launch, however, according to Aoki “At present, we are tracking around 40 to 50 titles that will be enhanced, including both first-party and third-party games.”

That said, many aforementioned 3rd-party devs have already come out and confirmed their own plans for the console – and so we will have to see how abundant the line-up will be when the system actually arrives next month.
