Resident Evil x Dead by Daylight officially detailed

During a recent anniversary stream celebrating 25 years of Resident Evil, Capcom revealed that the long-running survival horror franchise would be crossing over with Dead by Daylight, the asymmetrical multiplayer horror title. Details were light at the time, though more information has now been revealed.

During the 5th anniversary stream for Dead by Daylight, the team behind the highly-successful asymmetrical multiplayer horror title revealed more details on what fans can expect with this latest crossover.

Resident Evil is home to many iconic characters, enemies and locations, and it has now officially been revealed that when the Resident Evil chapter goes live on the 15th of June, fans can look forward to playing as the new killer “Nemesis; two Survivors, Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine; and a new map of the iconic Raccoon City police station.”

This isn't the first iconic horror franchise to make its way to Dead by Daylight. Across both films and games, many of the genre’s most recognisable franchises have been represented, including Silent Hill, Halloween, Left 4 Dead, Saw, and Stranger Things – to name a few.

With many of Capcom’s own multiplayer Resident Evil efforts failing to impress, it is exciting to see the franchise represented in one of the most well enjoyed horror games currently available.
