PS5 exclusive ‘Stellar Blade’ demo arriving this week

Stellar Blade is an interesting looking fast paced spectacle fighter which feels like a cross between NieR Automata and Bayonetta. Following the accidental release of the upcoming game’s demo a couple weeks ago, the team at SHIFT UP have now announced its official release.

Making the announcement on the PlayStation Blog, Kim Hyung Tae – the director of Stellar Blade – said “We are pleased to officially announce the upcoming free playable demo for Stellar Blade, coming March 29 to PlayStation 5.”

Taking place at the beginning of the game, this demo will include the tutorial stage in order to familiarise players with Stellar Blade ahead of its release alongside “a little surprise included for players who complete the first stage.”

Seeing as how the demo is simply a repackaging of the game’s initial stages, the team confirmed that progress from the demo will carry over into the full game – meaning you won’t need to redo the tutorial and openings all over again upon Stellar Blade’s official launch.

The Stellar Blade demo will go live on the 29th of March at 2PM GMT with seemingly no end date – meaning you can enjoy the opening chapter as many times as you want over the coming month leading up to the game’s release on the 26th of April.
