PlayStation’s 2021 wrap-up is now live

One of the most exciting elements to a brand new year is being able to look back at the last 365 days and see what you have achieved. Though a little later than many other services, PlayStation’s 2021 wrap up is now available.

Available to try out right now, the 2021 PlayStation Wrap-Up report offers an insight into and breakdown of all the games you played throughout 2021.

Some of the statistics include:

  • Total Hours and their breakdown across consoles and online
  • The number of games played
  • Your top games of 2021 (as determined by time played)
  • You total number of trophies collected and their breakdown
  • How many PS Plus games you redeemed

Additionally, PlayStation also shared some global community statistics – such as total distance traveled or most popular weapon – for a number of first party games, including Death Stranding Director’s Cut; Returnal; Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart; and Destruction All-Stars.

Video games are ultimately a form of media and so it is interesting and exciting to be able to keep track of the games you’ve played. My top 5 games of the 2021 (in terms of play time) were reportedly:

  1. No Man’s Sky
  2. Returnal
  3. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
  4. Hollow Knight
  5. Cyberpunk 2077

Those who take part in the wrap-up can also look forward to being gifted a number of PlayStation avatars as a thank you. Wrap ups are always a fun way to look over the past year while only focusing on the good things. It is therefore exciting to see Sony continuing to offer such a service.
