PlayStation teases 2024 release for MGS Delta: Snake Eater

During last year’s PlayStation Showcase, Konami officially announced and unveiled Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater – a remake of the Kojima directed PS2 classic. Aside from the initial announcement trailer, we have seen little from the game. That said, it seems as though the MGS3 remake is planned to arrive some time this year.

As part of a promotional trailer released by Sony detailing the PS5’s upcoming 2024 output, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was listed, seemingly suggesting that the title is currently planned to launch some time in 2024.

MGS wasn’t the only Konami game to get a release window however, as the same trailer also highlighted Silent Hill 2’s Remake as having a 2024 release. Unlike MGS however, the team behind the Silent Hill 2 Remake have claimed for months now that the game was nearing completion.

Of course, until we get a concrete release date, the listed release windows should be taken with a pinch of salt. That said, it would be quite exciting to have two of Konami’s biggest franchises return in the same year. We will have to wait and see.
