Neon White is finally coming to Xbox as game gets rated by ESRB

Neon White was one of the most exciting breakout indie hits of 2022, with the fast first-person action game seeing you “exterminating demons in Heaven” using a combination of weapons, platforming and a lot of resets. Currently available on PC, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, Neon White looks set to be coming to Xbox consoles soon.

Going to the ESRB’s (Entertainment Software Rating Board) website, we can see that Neon White has now been officially rated for both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, suggesting that the game is not only set to soon be announced for Microsoft’s consoles but that it could be coming out sooner rather than later.

For the uninitiated, Neon White is a “lightning fast first-person action game about exterminating demons in Heaven. You are White, an assassin handpicked from Hell to compete with other demon slayers for a chance to live permanently in Heaven. The other assassins seem familiar, though… did you know them in a past life?”

While the game has yet to officially be announced for Xbox, in looking at the PS5 version of the Neon White we can make an educated guess on some of features coming with its impending release. While Neon White on the Xbox will not benefit from Adaptive Triggers, Advanced Haptics nor gyro controls, it is safe to assume that the Series X version will at the very least match PS5 in giving players the ability to run the game at a smooth and locked 120fps for maximum precision and reaction times.

With the ESRB having now rated Neon White for Xbox, hopefully the official announcement is not too far away.
