My Hero Academia and Dead Space coming to Fortnite

Chapter 4 of Fortnite recently went live, bringing with it new engine and graphics improvements, an updated map and as always, additional crossover characters. Following the inclusion of the DOOMSLAYER. My Hero Academia and Isaac Clarke from Dead Space are next to drop onto the Fortnite island.

Following a subtle tease during the Chapter 4 launch cinematic, it has now been officially confirmed that characters from the My Hero Academia anime will be joining the fray, with Epic Games taking to Twitter to say “Fear not… My Hero Academia arrives 12.16.2022.”

Little else was revealed so far, and so we do not yet know whether this crossover will purely include new skins, or whether like Dragon Ball before it, more gameplay altering inclusions will be made. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long to find out.

That is not all however, as though not yet officially announced, Insider Gaming has reported that Isaac Clarke – the protagonist of the Dead Space series – will also be added at some point soon. According to their sources, the collab will begin on the 23rd of January, just a few short days ahead of the Dead Space remake (27th of January 2023).
