More than 40 partners announced for Summer Game Fest 2023

With the cancellation of E3 once again this year, all eyes are on Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest. Set to go live on the 8th of June, Keighley has now released a full list of all the partners which have signed on to the event, including the likes of Xbox, PlayStation and CD Projekt.

Taking to Twitter to make the announcement, Geoff Keighley said “Here. We. Go! More than 40 partners set to take part in #SummerGameFest activities. Sign up for event alerts at http://summergamefest.com Join us for our live showcase event at @youtubetheater on June 8.”

Alongside this, Keighley released an image featuring the names of the 40+ brands and companies set to make an appearance at the show. The full list can be seen below, but just some of the more notable attendees include:

  • Bandai Namco
  • Capcom
  • CD Projekt
  • Disney
  • EA
  • Epic Games
  • PlayStation
  • SEGA
  • Square Enix
  • Ubisoft
  • WB Games
  • Xbox

While an impressive list of partners, there are some noteworthy omissions. There has been a great deal of talk surrounding Konami and Summer Game fest, with leaks and rumours claiming a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 is on its way. That said, the rumours also claim it to be associated with PlayStation, and so it is possible we will see it as part of whatever Sony has planned.

The biggest omission by far is the lack of Nintendo, though that isn’t too surprising – especially as the company mostly kept its distance from E3 even when it was at its biggest, opting instead to host their own Nintendo Directs.

Even without Konami or Nintendo, Summer Game Fest looks to be a decent substitute to the late E3, with more than enough attendees to make for what is hopefully an exciting event. We will have to wait and see.
