Media Molecule announces DreamsCom 2022

Deamscom is an annual digital E3-style showcase which takes place within the PlayStation exclusive ‘Dreams’. Following the success of last year’s event – which allows for players to show off their work on a digital show floor, DreamsCom is back in 2022 later this month.

Making the announcement on Twitter, the official Media Molecule account said “#DreamsCom22 opens its doors on 26TH JULY 2022! A virtual coMmunity showcase inside Dreams, a week full of streams and plenty of celebrating! We can't wait to welcome dreamers from all across the Dreamiverse to this year's event. #MadeInDreams

Alongside this, the team released a trailer for the event, teasing some of what fans can expect to see and experience at the event, including creator interviews, “mind melting demos,” interactive booths and more.

Media Molecule’s Dreams may have had a slow start following its launch back in February 2020, but with each passing month and year, the title continues to impress, with more and more creators using the tools to make all manner of exciting experiences, from games to music to films and more.

Last year we ‘attended’ DreamsCom 2021 and were impressed by not only the quality of the content, but the sheer variety of experiences, as well as the overall event, which felt in many ways true to life when compared to E3 and the like – aside from not needing to wait hours in line to try a single game. DreamsCom 2022 will definitely be worth attending.
